Double-Fold or “2X” Pure Vanilla extract is twice as concentrated as a regular vanilla extract.  The FDA requires 13.35oz of vanilla beans per gallon of extract to be considered a pure vanilla extract, double fold is twice that amount, so a minimum of 26.7 ounces of vanilla beans per gallon of extract!
