What sets us apart

than 80% of the world’s vanilla is produced in Madagascar, yet less than 5% is actually extracted there. This has been the status quo in the vanilla industry for a long time. We wanted nothing to do with the status quo, so we built a vanilla extraction plant in Madagascar. Our production controls consistently deliver quality vanilla products made directly at the source. With more than 40 years of experience in the food industry, we have the technical aptitude to craft special formulations to meet your needs.

Since we work directly with farmers, and produce our vanilla oleoresins and absolutes in Madagascar, we have been able to create a positive impact with the farming communities and the local industry. This direct contact with the communities also enables us to pay farmers a premium price for exceptional vanilla and provide competitive pricing to our customers.

Our vanilla is ethically sourced. MUST Vanilla is a member of SEDEX and has been successfully audited against SMETA (SEDEX Members Ethical Trade Audit) standards. This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to responsible sourcing, ethical business practices, and transparency across our vanilla supply chain in Madagascar.
